Cricket memorabilia expected to bag lots of green
Updated
Collectors of cricket memorabilia are expected to pay up to thirty thousand dollars for one of four baggy greens which go under the hammer in Melbourne today.
Mark Waugh and Geoff Marsh's caps are expected to fetch more than ten thousand dollars each.
But auctioneer Charles Leski says the older baggy greens should attract more competition among bidders.
"Starting from the earliest one we've got Sam Loxton's he was a member of the 1948 invincibles team we have also got one from Richie Benaud that was the one wore in the 1957/58 test series against South Africa," Leski said.
