NZ come from behind in rugby league final

New Zealand coach Stephen Kearney has praised former Australian coach Wayne Bennett for helping the Kiwis win their first rugby league World Cup.

New Zealand came from 10-nil down to defeat the Kangaroos 34-20 in Saturday night's final in Brisbane.

Bennett has been an assistant coach for the Kiwis this season, and Kearney says his contribution has been significant.

"His knowlege obviously of big games was very important," he said.

"But you know Wayne would be the first one to say, there was a whole group of people that contributed to the performance."
