PNG river flooding affects thousands

In Papua New Guinea, several thousand people in a remote part of the Southern Highlands province have reportedly been displaced after flooding destroyed their homes and food gardens. One of the affected villagers James Diwi says 8 people have died from water borne diseases and food shortages.
