Guam Military build-up environmentally friendly
Updated
Eight thousand US marines and their dependants are to be relocated from Okinawa to the US Pacific territory of Guam in about five years. The US Navy is designing environmentally friendly facilities in a major effort to cut energy use, with buildings positioned to
meet silver-certification from the US Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program.
