Indo-Fijian police officers threatened by Commissioner
Updated
Senior Indo-Fijian police officers have reportedly been told to leave the Fiji Police force if they can't work with the Police Commissioner. Commodore Esala Teleni called a meeting of officers, where he told them to get out of the force, if they can't support his Christian crusade. His warning about negative comments on the crusade he launched in December, was broadcast last night on the Fiji One national News evening news bulletin. Pacific Beat approached Fiji's One National News today but they were unable to speak to us because the Police Commissioner has launched an investigation into how they obtained the footage. Here's the story that went to air on Fiji TV.
