PNG troops deployed to curb Highlands lawlessness

The Papua New Guinea government is sending more than 200 police and soldiers to curb a breakdown of law and order at the Porgera Gold Mine in the highlands. Armed men have been holding up trucks carrying supplies for the mine and businesses in Porgera. The operation could end up costing four million dollars.
