Fiji Auditor General quits prior to report over Bainimarama back pay
Updated
There are concerns in Fiji that a report into allegations over a large backpay claim from coup leader and interim prime minister Frank Bainimarama won't be made public after the country's Auditor General, Eroni Vatuloka resigned. He does however insist he will finish his report into the interim Prime Minister's $US102,000 payout for leave he claims to have accumulated since 1978. The report will be sent to the interim finance minister, who at the moment is Commodore Bainimarama, and then to the cabinet, which he heads, and this worries corruption watchdog group Transparency International Fiji.
