Pacific Unions urge boycott on handling Fijian goods

This week Fiji's credit rating was downgraded and the dollar devalued by 20 percent, and now Trade Unionists in the Pacific region are discussing industrial action against Fiji, in protest over the political situation. The South Pacific Oceania Council of Trade Unions met in Port Moresby this week, and is calling on Maritime Unions not to handle goods going to or from Fiji at their ports.
