UNESCO Media Freedom workshop moved from Fiji to Samoa

A workshop for Pacific media professionals that was to be held in Fiji has been moved to Samoa. The workshop called 'Building Courage Under Fire' is organised by the Pacific Freedom Forum and sponsored by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO). The workshop, to coincide with World Press Freedom Day next week, will address media freedom in the Pacific, including gagging and other repressive measures that Governments impose.
