Endearment of NZ fugitive waning after siege

Police in New Zealand are still looking for a fugitive who's been on the run for more than 90 days, and is making headlines around the world. William Stewart - or 'Billy the Hunted One' as he likes to be known - has endeared himself to some Kiwis by playing a cat and mouse game with authorities, leaving thank-you notes when he steals food, and giving hitchhikers rides in his stolen vehicles. But after the shooting ten days ago of three New Zealand police officers in an unrelated siege, it seems Billy supporters have gone quiet.
