Crisis services struggling to get to PNG landslide
Updated
The Morobe provincial Disaster Centre has left for the area of a killer landslide in Papua New Guinea today in a chopper and has not yet returned. The area is mountainous, has dangerous valleys and gorges, is foggy and not accesible by plane or road. The area is serviced by a bush track and takes 3 hours walk from the nearest government station at Sialum.
