Saving New Zealand's kakapo

In a recent survey of New Zealanders, the Kakapo - a large, bright green, flightless parrot - was voted "bird of the year". The Kakapo is only found in New Zealand, and there are just 124 left. With this in mind, vets at Auckland Zoo are doing everything they can to get a Kakapo with a very embarrassing problem, back on his feet.
