PNG think-tank suggests plastic recycling better than ban
Updated
A Papua New Guinea think-tank says plastic bags - which contribute to environmental pollution - should be recycled. A report by the National Research Institute says the careless and deliberate disposal of plastic shopping bags is polluting the country's pristine beaches and major towns. This comes even though the government banned the use of the bags in 2005.
