PNG villagers told to stop search for landslide dead

Morobe provincial authorities in Papua New Guinea have told the people of Sialum to stop searching for the bodies of their dead who were buried alive by a landslide on May the 25th. A total of 19 people died during the massive landslide which happened in the early hours... when the victims were still sleeping. Director of the Morobe Provincial Disaster Office, Martin Mose, says police will be sent to get the relatives to stop digging for the bodies of their relatives. He says with the continuing bad weather in the area, there's a high risk of further landslides.
