Leading PNG ecologist says Ramu Nickel pipe unsafe

Papua New Guinea's Ramu Nickel project is under fire again, this time from one of PNG's leading ecologists. Major environmental concerns have been raised about the construction of the projects slurry waste pipeline being built through the Madang province. The pipeline extends for 130 kilometres from the mine site to Basamuk Bay on the Northwest Coast. The concerns have been dismissed by the projects chief technical director.
