Immigrants drum their anxiety away

Drums have been a communication tool for thousands of years, but now they're being used to help refugees integrate into Australian society. It's been found that drum classes increase learning capacity, and are particularly helpful for high school students trying to cope with living in a new country. Using the instrument also provides an emotional outlet by reducing anxiety.
