Economist says Fiji's wage restraint will harm poor

An economist at the University of the South Pacific in Fiji has criticised the Reserved Bank Governor for asking for wage restraint. The Governor wants to delay pay rise and wage negotiations for the next two years after the recent devaluation of the Fiji dollar and rising inflation. Professor Wadan Narsey tells us why he thinks it's unfair to ask the country's poor to wait for another two years for a pay rise.
