Samoa's Supreme Court has overturned a decision by the country's parliamentary speaker to call a series of by-elections after nine independent MP's breached the island state's anti party hopping laws. The Speaker had declared their seats vacant after they combined to form the Tautua Samoa Party, and barred them from taking part in a recent budget debate.
