French Polynesia marks nuclear test anniversary

French Polynesia has been marking the 43rd anniversary of the first nuclear test in the Pacific. This week, the French National Assembly approved a landmark bill on compensating the victims of the blasts. But critics of the the proposed legislation say it's too complex, and gives too much say to state appointees.
