Solomons High Court to determine validity of MP payments

The Solomon Islands Cabinet says the High Court is to determine the validity of new entitlements awarded to members of parliament. The government has directed the Attorney General to submit an application to the High Court, asking it to declare whether or not the Parliamentary Entitlements Commission has acted within the Constitution.
