Fiji NGO says some squatters can afford own homes

A non-government organisation in Fiji has dismissed reports that nearly half of people living in squatter communities could actually afford their own homes. The report quoted an official from the Housing Ministry, as saying that some families are continuing to illegally occupy land when they're capable of looking after themselves.
