Casino in Palau divides public and law makers

The proposed establishment of a casino in Palau is causing widespread concern in the community. More than 1,500 people have signed up to a petition organised by Palau's Council of Chiefs, which says the negative impact of gambling will outweigh any economic benefits. Palau's leaders still want the casino, saying it would be strictly for tourists.
