Fiji Housing Ministry says few squatters can afford homes

Earlier this week, Radio Australia brought you a report from Fiji suggesting up to 40 percent of people living in squatter communities could actually afford to buy their own homes. That figure has now been revised down to between 10 and 20 percent. The new numbers have come from Fiji's Ministry of Housing, which says the 40 per cent figure was grossly over-inflated.
