Eco-friendly loans available to Palau home-builders

The National Development Bank of Palau is engaged in a new project that gives home-builders in Palau a win-win outcome... affordable homes that are also environmentally friendly. With assistance from governments in Europe, and the International Conservation Union, the Bank is providing loans for middle income families to build homes that have a range of energy-saving features designed especially for Palau. Depending on how many of these features a loan recipient wants, they get a subsidy worth up to $US10,000.
