Small Island States, Pacific reiterate huge climate targets

A story covered by Radio Australia in October and circulating in New York today is that Australia's prime minister may have spiked a tough emissions statement put out by the Small Island States at the Pacific Islands Forum in Cairns. As Chair of the Pacific Islands Forum, Kevin Rudd is likely to speak again on the issue of greenhouse emissions at the climate change meeting in New York.
