Marshall Islands President addresses 2009 UN General Assembly

With climate change the focus of this year's United Nations' General Assembly, all leaders taking part are expected to address the topic in their presentation to the general debate, with many already doing so. In the Pacific climate change has been an issue well before now, especially in the low lying coral atolls which make up many of the island nations. Previously Pacific leaders have raised it at General Assemblies. And as Pacific Correspondent Campbell Cooney reports, the first Pacific Leader to address the assembly this year, has done the same.
