Pitcairn to get new constitution
Updated
Pitcairn Island is about to have its constitution overhauled. The tiny settlement, which was founded by mutineers from HMS Bounty and their Tahitian wives in 1789, hasn't had it's basic laws changed since the 1970s. The Governor of Pitcairn is George Ferguson, the British High Commissioner in New Zealand.
