Palau the latest lay-up site forup to 30 container ships

Up to thirty container vessels could be anchored in the waters off the Rock Islands in Palau as part of a deal between Palau Shipping Company and the Koror State Government. But the environmental impact of large vessels on the water and reefs is causing concern for traditional leaders and environmental bodies.
