Guam monitors Japanese protests over US navy base

Guam's government says its still confident the movement of U-S marines from Japan to Guam will go ahead as planned, despite a number of protests over the weekend. On Sunday, thousands attended a rally on the southern Japanese island of Okinawa, demanding that the existing base be closed immediately, regardless of whether a replacement site is ready or not.
