The Pacific region has one of the highest uptakes of the mobile phone per capita, but are they safe for users?
With strong growth in new cell site developments, Asia Pacific will be the leading region for green mobile expenditures which is projected to reach $US80.8 billion globally by 2013. And does being environmentally friendly make a difference?
The International Commission for Non-Ionising Radiation Protection is a group affiliated with the World Health Organisation which sets the international guidelines on limits for exposure to electromagnetic radiation - including emissions from mobile phones.
