Pacific leads world in sustainable palm oil

The New Britain Palm Oil - the biggest palm oil operator in Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands has become a world leader sustainable palm oil production. And it has now signed a deal to provide sustainable palm oil to the British company, United Biscuits. Palm oil has been under fire from environmentalists who say growth in the industry is leading to clearing of tropical rainforests. New Britain Palm Oil has been one of the companies leading the push for sustainability in the industry.
