Australia's funding outreach to Pacific women

Australia has been extending its women's affairs outreach into the Pacific while continuing its own work in Indigenous communities and HIV/AIDS. The Fiji Women's Crisis Centre is to receive funds from the Australian Government to continue its work there and in other Pacific nations.
The Minister for the Status of Women in Australia's Federal Parliament, Tanya Plibersek, begins by telling Geraldine Coutts why Australia needs an office for the status of women.
