Fiji's Shamima Ali gathers major rights award

Fiji human rights campaigner and frequent Pacific Beat commentator Shamima Ali has been recognised for her work in supporting women in crisis right across the region. Ms Ali won the inaugural New Zealand Amnesty International Human Rights Defenders Award. She tells Geraldine Coutts that winning the award has given her the strength to continue her work.
