Australian High Commissioner to PNG praises bilateral ties

Australia's new High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea, says he is looking forward to his posting at a time when the bilateral relationship between the two countries is in excellent shape. Ian Kemish will replace former High Commissioner Chris Moraitis. Mr Kemish spent his childhood in PNG in the 1970s. He has previously represented the Australian government in New Zealand, Austria and Brunei, as well as holding senior positions in Canberra, and says he is delighted to be returning to his childhood home.
