Post-tsunami Samoa fears mongoose pest rise

Months after the tsunami that destroyed much of Samoa's south coast a new issue is emerging - mongoose infestation.

The country's Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment has launched a major program in the tsunami-hit Aleipata area following a report that the number of mongooses in the Lalomanu village area has exploded.
