Cyclone likely to cost French Polynesia millions

In French Polynesia, the damages bill from last weekend's Cyclone Oli could exceed $US20 million. Around 500 houses were badly damaged or destroyed by the cyclone, many of which were on the Austral island of Tubuai. Authorities tied to the French High Commission in the capital Papeete have completed a preliminary assessment of the aftermath.
