Solomon Islands committed to promoting eco tourism

The eco tourism industry in Solomon Islands is rapidly expanding and gaining world recognition. The birdlife on the internationally-renowned Rennell Island and Marovo Lagoon in the Western province are among some of the most popular attractions. The Solomon Islands government is keen to further develop this eco tourism industry and has allocated more than US$600,000 to fund up to 50 eco tourism projects.
