Radio Australia will launch its newest FM transmitter in Koror, Palau, later today with the actual launch part of the first broadcast followed by ten days of the highlights from the Micronesian Games.

The Koror link joins other FM broadcasts in the Pacific centres of Port Moresby and Lae in Papua New Guinea, Honiara in Solomon Islands, Port Vila and Santo in Vanuatu, Apia in Samoa, Nuku'alofa in Tonga, Rarotonga in Cook Islands, and Tarawa in Kiribati. Radio Australia's FM stations are currently suspended by Fiji's interim government in Suva and Nadi.
