Newcrest Mining debuts on PNG stock exchange

In a fairly flat trading week on the Port Moresby stock exchange, Australian gold and coper company Newcrest Mining Ltd has become the 20th company to be listed there following its recent merger with Lihir Gold Limited.
And in the business of sport our regular contributor and CEO of Kina Securities, Syd Yates, travelled with the PNG organising and facilities committees for the 2011 Pacific Games to Noumea this week where they got a sense of preparations for next year's games.
