Discrimination against HIV positive people in Kiribati

In Kiribati there's just 54 reported cases of HIV infection, but health workers believe the true figure is likely to be higher.
But very few of they 54 feel able to disclose their status for fear of discrimination, ridicule and shame.
The Pacific Islands AIDS Foundation has just completed a workshop in Kiribati to empower those with HIV by offering them the latest information on HIV & AIDS, treatments available and their rights.
