Latest on the failed PNG military mutiny
Updated
Papua New Guinea Prime Minister Peter O'Neill has lashed out at the former prime minister, Sir Michael Somare over yesterday's failed military mutiny.
Soldiers loyal to Sir Michael had attempted to stage a mutiny and held the Commander of the Defence Force under house arrest for some hours.
Earlier reports say the soldiers involved in the failed mutiny have refused to give up their weapons until they are pardoned.
