Pacific film-makers strengthen ties with Australian peers

Next week 14 media professionals will be start a intensive course in Tahiti with film makers from the Australian Film Television and Radio School.

It's being funded by the Pacific Media Assistance Scheme or PACMAS, with support from the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association. The idea is to increase the number of filmmakers in the Pacific, and strengthen their ties with their peers in Australia.
