Malaysia promises to boost press freedoms

The Malaysian government has promised to boost press freedoms in the country, pledging to review its tough media laws. The announcement by the country's Home Minister comes as he approved a permit for opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim's National Justice Party to start publishing its own newspaper.
