Revamped New Caledonia pension scheme

In New Caledonia, the Employers' organization is pushing to introduce changes in the pension scheme.In 2003, a study showed it needed immediate reform to be sustainable. Since then, unions and the New Caledonia Employers' organization have been working together to find a long term solution.An agreement was reached last year, but the reform has not been implemented.
