Forum Fisheries Agency meets in Palau

The 4th Ministerial Meeting of the Forum Fisheries Agency Members in Palau has announced the signing of a Loan Agreement and Memorandum of Understanding to introduce a new line of funding from Japan. FFA members say they will reap substantial financial benefits from the deal. Under the scheme, Japan's Overseas Fisheries Co-operation Foundation will provide up to 96 million US dollars in a form of a loan over a ten year period.
