Doubts about French Polynesia signing

French Polynesia's President, Gaston Tong Sang is in Paris this week to sign a 680 million US dollar development contract with French President Nicolas Sarkozy. However, the signing takes place against a backdrop of political turmoil in Tahiti and the official signing in Paris may have to be postponed, as the document is yet to be approved by the Assembly in Papeete.
