Nauru welcomes Pacific Forum election report

RAThe Nauru government has welcomed a Pacific Islands Forum report into last months elections. The Forum team which monitored the election, had criticised the Government for calling the poll under a state of emergency and only allowing a little over a week to campaign. The election came just eight months after a previous poll, following weeks of a political stalemate in Parliament.It placed President Marcus Stephens' party into a parliamentary majority.
