Tahiti looking to Chinese tourists

French Polynesia is looking to convince Chinese tourists to visit Tahiti and her Islands. A delegation of 6 journalists from Beijing has been invited to visit French Polynesia by the organisation promoting the group, Tahiti Tourism. The Chinese market offers a ray of hope for Tahiti, which is struggling to attract tourists, numbers are down 10 per cent on this time last year.
