Australia's High Court to define 'slavery'

Australia's High Court is due to hand down a legal definition of the concept of "slavery" by August.
It's important because a few years ago, a woman called Wei Tang was found guilty of possessing sex slaves at her brothel in Melbourne. After several appeals it emerged at the heart of the matter is the way we define slavery in the Criminal Code. There are known to be people held in servitude and indentured labour in Australia, and there are young women held as sexual slaves, too.
