Food shortages could topple new Nepal government: WFP

The World Food Program says Nepal's yet-to-formed government could be toppled by food riots unless urgent action is taken to address food shortages.
The UN agency says almost three million people in Nepal's need immediate food assistance, after being hit by crop failures and price rises, and a further four million could join them. However, Nepal's government is playing down the crisis.
